Drop-in Bathtubs

<p>Shop drop-in bathtubs from Aqua Eden, Maidstone, and other leading brands — a tub designed to be set into a built platform or deck, rather than installed with a finished apron of its own.</p> <p>Unlike alcove or freestanding tubs, drop-in models have no finished exterior — the surrounding deck (tile, solid surface, or wood) provides the visible surface, which lets you match the tub surround to the rest of the room. <strong>Acrylic tubs</strong> are lighter and more affordable; <strong>cast iron tubs</strong> are heavier and retain heat longer. Some models add a <strong>hydromassage system</strong> with jets built into the tub walls.</p> <p>Sizes range from 57" to 72" long. Most ship with a center drain, and several models offer a reversible drain hole so the same tub works on either side of the room. Deck material, faucet, and surround are sold separately.</p>
